John is one of Ireland’s leading business figures having successfully led Bord Gais for over five years during which time he increased revenues and profits while modernizing all aspects of its operations, client relations and corporate culture. Alain has worked more than 15 years in developing, building and investing in green infrastructure assets (solar PV, wind, biomass, and water). He was instrumental in the establishment and development of over €10bn of green infrastructure investments in Asia, Africa, North America and Europe. Alain was previously COO at Investricity, CEO of SOLON (France & Africa), General Manager of Samsung C&T Green Energy Division (North America, Asia and Europe) and worked at GDF Suez in various functions (business development, project management, Business Unit Manager) and in more than 60 countries. Alain holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Water & Environmental Sciences (ENGEES).
Nick Howard has more than 20 years of experience in establishing & raising finance for renewable energy & infrastructure businesses. Prior to joining Amarenco, he was CFO at Investricity. He spent 5 years prior to that with NTR plc during which time he was instrumental in the establishment & financing of NTR’s US biofuels business. In his earlier career, he spent 11 years with Standard Bank, founding its PF group based in London and closing numerous transactions in sub-Saharan Africa, including leading the establishment of the Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund in partnership with the UK’s DfID. He has a BSc (Edinburgh), ACCA Diploma, and MBA (Henley).
Davide started is career in a start up environment (back in 2005!). Before joining Amarenco, He was Regional CFO for Emerging Markets at Voltalia (MENA Region). He previously worked in various roles at Martifer Solar starting as Financial Controller up to CFO, Country Manager and Board Member. He has vast international experience of working in numerous cities of Europe (Portugal, Greece, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium and France) and is an exceptional multilingual communicator in French, Portuguese, Spanish and English. He is a Executive MBA at EM Lyon Business School, France (2015) and Graduate in Economics UTAD - Universidade de Trás-Os-Montes e Alto Douro, Portugal (2003)
